Leadership remains the No. 1 talent issue facing organizations around the world, with 86 percent of respondents in Deloitte University Press survey rating by it as “urgent” or “important.” Only 13 percent of respondents say they do an excellent job developing leaders at all levels—the largest “readiness gap”.
This scenario led to the new age approach that the TRAINING industry has taken. Companies have spent millions in hiring external consultants to step in and help them build the skill set of their employees.
What they hoped to achieve through this was to build an employee pool who now had the skill sets required for their job including leadership.
